In the fifth version of the Colombia Investment Roadshow event, which will take place in Madrid, Spain at the headquarters of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) on May 4 and 5, the Colombian government and more than five hundred companies from Spain , Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom will meet through a face-to-face and virtual format, so that European businessmen find investment niches in infrastructure, energy, new technologies, tourism and health in Colombia. Likewise, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the Spain-Colombia Council Foundation, Business Europe (the union of industries of the European Union) and BBVA, sponsor of the event, will be present to provide support to Colombia.
The main purpose of the Colombian government is to show the different investment opportunities that exist in Colombia, which have been growing thanks to the transition to renewable energies, the development of infrastructure, the manufacturing sector and economic growth. The president of ProColombia highlights the importance of this event as an opportunity for the country’s economic growth. This face-to-face meeting with European investors also brings to the table the investment opportunity for infrastructure, technology, tourism and health capital funds.
