Microbiologist from Universidad de los Andes with a Master’s in Microbiological Sciences from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, she has over 25 years of experience in biotechnology and intellectual property. She has served as a researcher at the Institute of Biotechnology (UNAL), patent examiner and later Director of New Creations at the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, consultant and Head of Patents at Clarke Modet Colombia, university lecturer, and technical leader in the creation of the Technology Transfer Office of the Colombian Air Force. She is co-author of specialized manuals on the PCT and industrial designs, contributed to the development of patent examination guidelines at the Andean level, and currently works as an intellectual property consultant and speaker.

With experience in labor consulting and litigation. Certified coach of Newfield CL and PROA S.A., with experience in personal and business coaching processes and intervention and training in companies on human resources matters.

Mechanical Engineer from Universidad América, with specialization courses in technology transfer and patents at the World Intellectual Property Organization -WIPO- in Geneva, Switzerland; at the European Patent Office -EPO- in Munich, Germany; and, in the Spanish Office of Patents and Trademarks -OEPM- in Madrid, Spain.
