The Trademark Office ruled in favor of our Client DETERGENTES LTDA. regarding the opposition filed against the registration of the trademark TERRA UAIA to cover goods of International Class 3 on behalf NELSON ALEXANDER MORENO, and in consequence denied its registration.
The Office acknowledged that our client DETERGENTES LTDA has a family of trademarks, in which the main element is the expression “TERRA”.
Thus, the decision prevents indirect confusion among consumers.
