Resolution 2013 of 2021 Sodium in ultra-processed foods

On November 9, 2022, the Resolution 2013 of 2021 initiated its enforceability. This Resolution established the technical rules defining the maximum content od sodium permitted for processed food.

The Resolution is appliable in two stages. The first, is from November 9, 2022 until July 11, 2023, in which the limits of sodium must be credited by the manufacturer; and, the second, starts on July 12, 2023, in which the limits must be certified by a specialized accreditation entity.
